Malayan Daching was formed in 1955 by the late Mr. Sim Thiam Siong during the British Colonial days, where Singapore and Malaysia were then known as Malaya. This was also where the company took its name from. The company core business then was in manufacturing of Daching and mechanical weighing scale supplier and repair service provider.
The name Malayan Daching has been retained over the years as it traces the uniqueness of the company progress and growth from the colonial years to the present day. While the company name has not changed, the company’s logo has been transformed to reflect the growing diversity of its business portfolio, innovations with market growth and the technology link with its customers.
